There are some very obvious cultural difference between this show and what flies in USA but it is one of my favorites.

Stepping Out From the Shattered Place

I told you it was a great show. This explains your improvement in understanding Geordie. Now plan a trip here so you can see Geordie land for yourself.
Send pictures of the back garden. It sounds like a big difference from when I was there.
