I can't claim to know Gods mind none of us can. We can read the bible and listen with our spiritual ears. Sometimes the only way to do that is to reduce it down to the simplest level.
What is it that really matters, how you love God, or that you love God?

Jay posted something on his blog Rambling Thoughts that caught my eye.
I was thinking about what he said for a good part of the night the trappings and the stage dressing is all that matter to some.

I know a 13 year old who has a friend at school who is Catholic. This Catholic friend and her mother told this boy that because he does not go to church he will go to hell. Christ had nothing to do with what is important to them. Mass is the key to heaven funny, I don't remember that verse.

The more rules you try to follow in order to earn your way to heaven the farther you get from the gift we were given on that cross. The stage dressing of the church denomination does not matter. The look of the building does not matter. The name on the side of that building does not matter. How you worship does not matter.

The body coming together to serve, now that matters. Putting Christ first in our lives, that matters. Worshiping God with our hearts that matters.

Mark 12:30
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

Now that matters.
