My friend picked me up for the ferry and decided to come along for the ride. She stay with us for a few hours.
As the ferry docked I called Mel's cell phone and told her that we where docking and asked where she was. From the deck I spotted her and she spotted me. Easy enough meet up. It's a good thing because the gelato place I was thinking of is no longer there. Sad to say neither is the Irish store that I was looking forward to.
The three of us had a lovely lunch and poked around some of the stores then it was time for my friend to get back on the ferry and head home. Leaving 4 hours for Mel and I to hang out alone.
We found a cool photo exhibit on display at the local village center. Checked into every store at least once, then the key place the local chocolate shop, where I got a lovely piece of fudge. I just finished eating the last piece. Then we found a nice place for dinner before it was my turn to catch the ferry.
It was a lovely day, with friends. I enjoyed myself so much. I was also able to show Mel her birthday present. I think she liked it.
