There is a first time for everything

So we set up the house rules and she went out and I didn't hear from her for 24 hours. This breaks more then one house rule. So I grounded her. LOL I grounded someone how funny is that. It was the agreed upon consequence so last night we had a chat about why and when her friends called she said no I can't I'm grounded. I asked her if she understood why and she said yes in a cheerful voice. I am wondering if she wanted to be grounded, lol.

I think it is such a relief for her not to be screamed at for screwing up that she was happy to deal with me unhappy with her behavior but willing to sit down and talk to her about it.

I never thought I would ground someone.
