Stepping Out From the Shattered Place

The Lord has had me on an incredible journey. I finally feel like I am stepping out from the shattered place into Gods healing hands.

There are all kinds of people who come into where I work, today one of the regulars made a comment that has started me thinking. He said, "with the wide range of people that come in here you probably can find anything you need if you put the word out."

He said this because I had said I hoped the rain would hold off until I got home and cut my grass. I had a lawn mower borrowed from one of the early morning guys and my grass is literally knee high.

I mentioned my broken lawn mower to one person a few weeks ago, that person is a friend and we love to talk about what we did the day before and entertain each other with funny stories. The story of my broken lawn mower is very amusing, ok it wasn't at the time but after the fact it really was.

There was a customer in the store at the time and a few days later he brought in an address of a guy in town that fixes found lawn mowers and sells them cheap with and he will repair free for a year if there are any problems. That was great news to me but getting a lawn mower home in my little car would be a problem.

I asked one of the early morning guys ( I have know him forever it seems like) if he would bring the mower to my house if I bought one. Yes was the answer but I didn't need it. After he left the store one of the other guys said "I have two and you can borrow one of mine. If you like it then I will give you a good price on it. " He dropped it off on Thursday.

I needed to find a bible study and I found a wonderful on through the store. I need to find some new Christian friends and people to fellowship with. You guessed it I found them through the store too. The stories behind finding these is pretty much the same as the lawn mower story.

I did beat the rain and the lawn is mowed and I count my blessings that God put me in the sort of place where you can find anything you need whether it is a lawn mower or a prayer partner.
