Stepping Out From the Shattered Place

The Lord has had me on an incredible journey. I finally feel like I am stepping out from the shattered place into Gods healing hands.

Living Romans 8:28

I is not an easy thing to do. To share your pain so that God can use your pain for good and for a purpose is hard. Tonight a girl shared her testimony with the group, she didn't know most of them and she was very honest in what she shared. She looked at me and said the best lesson I learned was when someone pointed out Romans 8:28 and I had a chance to do that with a girl. She realized how God can use her and what she has been through and has found ways of doing that more often and in school even.

I talked with a girl on-line that I really didn't know and pointed her to that scripture over the summer. To see her living that scripture just reminds me how often God can use a broken pot like me even when I do not have a clue that he is doing it.

In our dealings with teens it is easy to think they are not listening or just don't hear the things we are saying. Another reminder that more often then not they are listening and they do hear. I remind myself on a regular basis that my words have impact and I need to choose them wisely.
